Freemasons now Major Sponsor at Soldiers Beach SLSC
Soldiers Beach SLSC held their 2025/26 Presentation Night on Saturday, 9 May 2026, with Freemasons on the Central Coast invited to attend as major sponsors.
Leigh Pollard and Ben Falconer proudly represented the organisation on the evening.
The night began with pre-dinner drinks, nibbles, and plenty of mingling, while guests enjoyed a range of circus-themed activities and entertainment. The formal proceedings commenced with Club President, Simon Falconer and Vice-president, Darcy Walker presenting sponsor plaques, followed by qualification awards recognising members who achieved important competencies throughout the season, including Bronze Medallions, ARC, IRB Crew, IRB Drivers, and more.
Guests then enjoyed a buffet dinner and refreshments before the presentations resumed.
Freemasons on the Central Coast were honoured to present two of the club’s major awards:
Junior Club Person of the Year – Jaydee Lourens and The Greg Martin Award for Conspicuous Service – Tony Axford
The Greg Martin Award is named in honour of Greg Martin, a past Master of Lodge Toukley.
After the official presentation ceremony concluded, entertainment continued with an incredible fire-walking and acrobatic performance that amazed the crowd for over thirty minutes.
It was a fantastic evening celebrating the achievements and dedication of club members throughout the season. Congratulations to all award nominees and recipients.
Freemasons on the Central Coast received a wonderful framed Soldier’s Beach SLSC cap with a plaque that reads “Thank you for your continued support”.
It’s a very proud moment for us to be considered a major sponsor for any community organisation, but Soldier’s Beach Surf Live Saving Club is special. Our donation last year of over $13,000 added to this year’s $7,000 means that Freemasons on the Central Coast have donated $20,000 to the SBSLSC in just two years, and over $60,000 since we first became a sponsor.
